Serafim Cherniy
Born amidst the tumultuous times of Perestroika, Sima Cherny found his passion for sculpture as a young child, using clay to make sense of the world. His journey led him through years of meticulous training at respected art institutions, under the guidance of top artists. This rigorous tutelage didn't just teach him traditional rules—it equipped him with a profound understanding, enabling him to create his own unique path: a fusion of cubism and impressionism. The different chapters of Sima's life have each sparked new waves of creativity. Now based in Tel Aviv, he's co-founded MSTRSK, an art collective that serves as a crucible for artistic inspiration and collaboration. For Sima, sculpture goes beyond just art—it's a dialogue between human emotions, experiences, and the physical world. His works aren't simply objects—they interact, they connect, and they resonate with the viewer. Sima's creations bear witness to his relentless curiosity and his commitment to crafting art that leaves a deep, indelible impression.
